My video game #Dgst101
My video game is a very basic dodging game that only uses two scripts. I was having difficulty coming up with a game so I watched some tutorials on dodging games in Scratch, and I designed a game where a cat has to dodge falling baseballs. The only control is pressing spacebar constantly to move each time, and pointing the mouse in the direction that you want the cat to move. The user is given three chances, and then the balls stop falling. I was unable to share the game properly over Medium, but it is a rather basic game anyway. I mainly struggled with coming up with a concept, so watching tutorial videos helped me create this. Scratch is a very intuitive program once you begin to figure it out, so I really enjoyed exploring the different tools that it offers.
